I have known Leo Borello for over 6 years. He volunteered at my former organization, The English-Speaking Union’s Andrew Romay New Immigrant Center, as a coach to help new immigrants with their transition to their new lives in New York city. He provided advice, emotional and practical support, and build trustful relationships with newcomers from all over the world as a transition coach and fellow newcomer. Leo was also a keynote speaker at our multicultural celebration one November, where we greeted and welcomed new immigrants and refugees with a traditinal November feast.
